DESCRIPTIONThis class contains detail information about a point on a text shape (\f8SoText2\f1 or \*(CbSoText3\f1). It contains the part of the text, string, and character that were hit or generated.
METHODS\f8SoTextDetail\*(Cr()
\f8~SoTextDetail\*(Cr()
Constructor and destructor. \f8getStringIndex\*(Cr() const
Returns the index of the relevant string within a multiple-value \f8string\f1 field of a text node. \f8getCharacterIndex\*(Cr() const
Returns the index of the relevant character within the string. For example, if the character of detail was the "u" within "Splurmph", the character index would be 3. \f8getPart\*(Cr() const
For \f8SoText3\f1, this returns which part was picked or generated. \f8getBoundingBox\*(Cr() const
\f8getXfBoundingBox\*(Cr() const
When the detail is returned from picking, these return the object-space bounding box of the character that was intersected. Otherwise, they return an empty box. The second method returns an \f8SbXfBox3f\f1 instead of a \f8SbBox3f\f1. These methods are implemented only for 3D text. \f8getClassTypeId\*(Cr()
Returns type identifier for this class.
